€€ Mar à vista (261 862 928. Rua de Santo António,16; closed on Wednesdays). Next to the Praia dos Pescadores, this restaurant’s speciality is seafood, freshly caught every day. Its ambience is restful, the service impeccable, and it has also a nice view of the sea.

€€ O Barco (261 862 759. Rua Capitão João Lopes ,14; closed  on Thursdays). Excellent view of the sea. Among their many specialities, you’ll find the feijoada (bean stew) and the caril de marisco (seafood curry).

€€ Ti Matilde (261 862 734. Rua Dr. Manuel Arriaga; closed on Mondays). At the Largo de S. Sebastião. The food is very fine and if you choose to sit on the terrace, you’ll have one of the most beautiful views over the sea.
