Arrival in Lisbon. Greeted by Portugal Trails Representative and Transfer to Hotel.
Relax on one of the beaches, have lunch in Cascais, and explore this wonderful coastline. Enjoy the boardwalk along the coast, stop in at the Estoril Casino, and meander through the winding streets of Cascais.

Cascais / Golf at Quinta da Marinha – Oitavos Dunes / Cascais
Oitavos Dunes is one of the finest courses in the area, with spectacular scenery, and every hole offering views of the Atlantic. This is an immaculately maintained course, with tree lined fairways, careful bunkering and lightning greens. Set within the Cascais-Sintra Natural Park, the course is a mix of links and woodland and commands magnificent views of the Atlantic and Serra de Sintra.
Designed by Arthur Hills, one of only two courses in Europe to bear his name, Oitavos has played host to the Portuguese Open and was voted 68th best course in the world by Golf Magazine.
Golf On Lisbon Coast - Dia 3
Cascais / Sintra / Cascais
Explore Sintra. Continue from Cascais along the coast, stopping at Cabo da Roca, for some stunning views from the western most point of continental Europe. Continue on to Sintra, a charming fairy-tale village nestled in the Sintra mountains that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the fantastic Pena Palace, taste some of the wonderful regional pastries. In the afternoon, visit the gardens and palace of the esoteric Quinta da Regaleira, and the Sintra National Palace with its twin chimneys.

Cascais - Golf at Penha Longa - Atlantic Course / Óbidos
Ranked in the top 30 Courses in Continental Europe, The Atlantic Course, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, is escapist’s golf at its best. With its bold drives, courageous approaches and artful greens, it is both an adrenalin rush and a soothing journey through one of Portugal's most inspiring landscapes. The opening holes and the final flourish share a wooded vale in the shadow of the Sintra Mountain, while others arc and plunge over scented hillsides. Exciting at every turn, this championship test and host to the Portuguese Open, is a master of variety and thrills.
Continue on to Óbidos. When entering the delightful town of Óbidos, you will be travelling back in time. Walk through the walls of this medieval hilltown and through the charming streets that are flanked by white-washed houses adorned with bougainvillea and honeysuckle.
Golf On Lisbon Coast - Day 5
Óbidos / Alcobaça / Nazaré /Batalha / Óbidos
Spend the morning in Alcobaça. Here you can visit the first and largest gothic church in Portugal with the tombs of D.Pedro and Inês de Castro, known for their tragic love story. We then suggest exploring the fishing village of Nazaré, with a relaxing lunch in a traditional restaurant.
This village has stunning views from the town's highest point, “Sítio” (accessible by a funicular). Taste the local Caldeirada (fish casseroles), soups, açorda (purée of bread, herbs and garlic) and the dried horse mackerel. Then visit Batalha in the afternoon where you will find another architectural masterpiece blending Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance styles.
Overnight in Óbidos.

Óbidos / Golf at Praia del Rey / Lisbon

It is set among extensive pine forests and undulating dunes, with spectacular views over the Atlantic and the Berlengas Islands beyond. The 18-hole golf course was designed by the renowned American golf architect Cabell B.Robinson.
Deep bunkers, sloping greens and sandy dunes contrast sharply with the lush fairways, making it the complete golfing challenge”.

downtown (“Baixa”) and feel the hustle and bustle of city life. It is also in
this district that you will find Lisbon’s oldest and most traditional shops. Go up the hill and discover wonderful
viewpoints from the Saint George Castle.
Visit the cathedral, and the old Moorish quarter of Alfama. Have lunch
at one of the restaurants by the river Tagus, and enjoy the light of Lisboa
being reflected in the water. In the
afternoon visit Belém, the quarter dedicated to the Portuguese discoverers
where you find the Tower of Belém and the Discoverers Monument. The fabulous Manueline style archictecture of the
Jerónimos Monastery cannot be missed.
