Lisbon / Cascais
Arrival to Lisbon Airport and pick-up of the car at the airport. Accommodation at the hotel in Cascais. Discover the romantic atmosphere of Sintra-Cascais Nature Park described by Lord Byron as a “glorious Eden”. To relax from your flight have a couple massage at Six Senses Spa Penha Longa.

Honeymoon In Portugal - Day 2
Cascais / Sintra / Cascais
Drive along the coast and stop at Cabo da Roca. Enjoy together a stunning view from the westernmost point of continental Europe. Continue your trip to Sintra, a fairy-tale village set amidst the mountains. A Unesco Heritage Site, Sintra boasts sumptuous palaces and luxurious parks. Not to be missed: Sintra National Palace and Pena National Palace. Stroll along Sintra’s winding roads or go on a cart ride across the village. Go on a guided private hiking in the mountain and discover the most beautiful ocean views.

Honeymoon In Portugal - Day 3
Cascais / Arrábida / Évora
On your way to Évora you can stop at Arrábida and discover this beautiful moutain. In the afternoon visit Évora - a living museum of tradition and history, handicrafts and gastronomy. Take a walking tour and visit the Roman Temple, Évora Cathedral, Giraldo square and St Francisco Church with its unique bones chapel. Évora is the perfect place to taste the delicious regional cuisine. In the Alentejo you will find a touch of creativity and imagination into every dish, where the odours are wisely transformed into tastes completed with fruity whites and the mouth filling red wines.

Honeymoon In Portugal - Day 4
You can continue discovering Évora or relaxing at your hotel. Alternatively, visit Monsaraz, an extremely beautiful mediaeval town that has succeeded in preserving its own distinctive characteristics over the centuries. We suggest a walk through the streets of Monsaraz and we assure you it is like going back in time, for it is a truly unique place where one can find all the peace and tranquillity. If you’re not on tight schedule Redondo is worth a visit. The House of the Dukes of Bragança was established in Vila Viçosa. You can visit their palace (which is a Pousada nowadays) and a coach museum (subsidiary of the Lisbon museum).

Honeymoon In Portugal - Day 5
Évora/ Lagos / Tavira
Before getting to Tavira visit Lagos where the emphasis is definitely on the sea. Just enjoy the scenery all around you, whether you’re sitting on the terrace of the fortress, with its magnificent view of the bay and the marina, or strolling amidst the rock formations of the headland of Ponta da Piedade with its breathtaking views over the sea. On your first night in Tavira enjoy a fantastic dinner at A Ver Tavira, a restaurant with a beautiful view of the river.

Honeymoon In Portugal - Day 6
Tavira, in the eastern Algarve, has an almost Mediterranean feel. The town was founded by the Phoenicians and later occupied by the Romans and the Visigoths. Tavira specializes in the art of making visitors welcome. In addition to tourism, the town’s traditional activities, salt and fishing, still survive. Vila Real de Santo António is a small border town at the mouth of the river Guadiana was built on the orders of Marques of Pombal, who decreed that this territory near Spain should be occupied. A pretty town by the river Guadiana, Castro Marim retains the characteristics of the traditional Algarve settlements. Take an afternoon private boat tour with champagne included.

Tavira / Sagres / Lisbon
Legend has it that Henry the Navigator set up his navigation school in Sagres. D. Henrique was the leading strategist behind the Portuguese overseas explorations and for this reason Sagres is twinned with Cape Canaveral in Florida. Make sure to visit the lighthouse in the Cape of São Vicente after whom this stretch of coastline. After lunch head back to Lisbon to enjoy your last night in Portugal. Go to a Fado performance or have a drink by the river.

If your flight is only in the afternoon spend your morning at the eastern part of Lisboa.Parque das Nações (the Park of Nations) hosts a wide variety of facilities, including cable car, a train station and a pleasant shopping centre in addition to extensive cultural and commercial zones. Here you can also visit the Oceanarium, the largest in Europe!
